The first quarter of 2022 saw varying performance trends among the top 5 air travel apps on the Android platform in Ukraine. These insights are based on data from Sensor Tower.

Flightradar24 Flight Tracker experienced significant growth in weekly downloads and revenue. Downloads surged mid-February, peaking at around 68K in the week of February 21, before gradually declining to 2.9K by the end of March. Revenue followed a similar upward trend, reaching approximately $1.4K in mid-March. Active users saw a dramatic increase, peaking at about 129.7K in the week of February 21, and then leveling off to around 50K by the end of the quarter.

Aviasales — Сheap flights showed a steady decline in weekly downloads and active users throughout the quarter. Downloads decreased from 4.2K in early January to just over 600 by the end of March. Active users followed suit, dropping from 25.4K in early January to 16.6K by the end of the quarter.

Planes Live - Flight Tracker saw a notable increase in downloads and revenue during the quarter. Downloads spiked to 12.3K in the final week of February, before dropping significantly to just 72 by the end of March. Revenue also peaked at around $460 in early March. Active users reached their highest point at 21.9K in late February, then decreased to 1.7K by the end of March.

Wizz Air - Book, Travel & Save maintained a relatively stable number of downloads and active users. Downloads fluctuated slightly, peaking at 3.2K in the last week of February and ending the quarter at 958. Active users remained fairly steady, with a slight decline from 12.3K in early January to 8.4K by the end of March.

Ryanair experienced a steady decrease in downloads and active users over the quarter. Downloads dropped from 3.4K in early January to 819 by the end of March. Active users also declined from 10.5K in early January to 6.6K by the end of the quarter.
